Zaccharie Risacher was born on April 8, 2005, in Málaga Municipality, Spain, to his parents Stéphane Risacher and his mother.

Growing up alongside his sister Aïnhoa Risacher, basketball was a prominent part of their family dynamic, with both Zaccharie and his father pursuing careers in the sport. Aïnhoa, too, has shown an interest in basketball, following in her family’s footsteps.

Despite limited information about his mother, she played a pivotal role in shaping Zaccharie’s path in basketball, instilling values of dedication and excellence from his early years.

At just three and a half years old, he started playing basketball at Élan Chalon. He continued to play in different clubs as he grew up, eventually joining Téo Basket 2 in Lyon.

Later, he moved to Oullins Sainte-Foy Basket club, where he became known as one of the league’s top scorers during the 2019-2020 season, scoring an average of 20.8 points per game.

Even at the young age of 14, Risacher represented his club in the French cadet championship, showing his skills on the court.
